The League season got under way for the Men's and Women's 1st XI's at the weekend. Unfortunately the results were not what we might have hoped for but there were wins in the 2nd XI friendly on Saturday (Matt Branford 113, Will Evans 68*) and for the Sunday XI (Ian Musgrove 98, Colin Moore 6 - 42). The 4th's just lost out in a close fought friendly at Ampfield with Trevor Foreman making 33 not out in a low scoring match and 3 wickets a piece for Dave Westbrook and Miles Holden.

The coming weekend sees a full league programme and the weather forecast is looking good - let's hope the results are too!
